Computer Labs at FLCC

Following is a table of all instructional computing labs at FLCC locations, and the software or equipment available in each location for September 2007. Each lab has one networked laser printer (users must bring their own paper, 20 lb. bond or better). Some labs also have dot matrix printers shared by 4 stations each, with continuous feed paper supplied by Instructional Computing. All instructor stations have a DVD drive and a ZIP drive. All systems are running Windows XP, connected to the Student LAN and the internet unless otherwise noted.

For software, the term "Standard" includes all of the following:

Instructional Computing has a computer and projector on a mobile cart which may be reserved for delivery as needed by contacting Kay Carlisi or the Computer Helpdesk. The mobile computer can be connected to the network if there is a network connection or wireless access in the room you plan to use. Otherwise, you can present materials from a USB Flash drive, Zip disk or a CD ROM. Be sure to request the mobile system early, as only one unit is available. You may need to change the date if the system has already been reserved by someone else. Alternatively, you might change your location to use a room that is already equipped with a computer and projector at an instructional station.
