Computing Sciences Internship

The Computing Sciences Internship will provide the student with an opportunity to gain "real-world" experience. During this internship, the student will apply learned skills acquired through course work in any of the computing science/information technology degrees programs to a work experience and gain an awareness of career opportunities in the computing science field. It will also give the student a much-needed advantage in acquiring a job after graduation because the internship provides on-the-job work experience in a real world situation. This internsip can be in any type of organization that can provide a meaningful computing science/information technology work environment.

This course is required for the AAS degree in Information Technology and may be used as an elective by other Computing Science majors.
