Deny (or Reject) Rule

• Blocking spoofed packets to or from a Private Class B IP network.

  • CLASS_B=“172.16.0.0/12”
  • ipchains -A input -i $EXTERNAL_INTERFACE \ -s $CLASS_A -j DENY
  • ipchains -A input -i $EXTERNAL_INTERFACE \ -d $CLASS_A -j DENY
