FLCC Employee Domain PC and Email Accounts

FLCC employees can obtain an account and password to log on to PC’s on main campus, which includes an employee e-mail mailbox and network U: drive storage. Hardcopy application forms are available from Human Resources (x7428), Joyce Hoppough (x7467), or existing FLCC employees can print them for new employees from this link.

FLCC Administrative Office Student Worker PC Accounts

FLCC Administrative offices can obtain special accounts to allow student workers to access Employee domain PC systems. Go here for more information: FLCC Administrative Office Student Worker PC Accounts

Employees leaving the college

Employee domain PC accounts and e-mailboxes are deleted when an employee leaves the college. If the employee has e-mail that the supervisor needs to keep, the employee should forward those e-mails to the supervisor prior to leaving the college. If the employee has files on their U: drive that the supervisor needs to save, the supervisor should instruct the employee to delete all unneeded files on the U: drive, and then the supervisor can mail an e-mail request to EDAM@flcc.edu (Employee Domain Account Maintenance) to move the remaining files into the employee’s replacement’s U: drive, or other specified U: drive.

Name Changes

If an employee changes their name and has made the change with Human Resources, they can request that their account name and e-mail address be changed to match their new name. To request the changing of the account name and e-mail address, send e-mail with the old full name and new full name to EDAM@flcc.edu (Employee Domain Account Maintenance).

Employee Domain Passwords

In order for EMPLOYEE domain passwords to work correctly on our network, they must be at least 8 characters long and must contain a combination of letters(at least one uppercase), numbers, and non-alpha numeric characters from this list: ~  !  @  #  $  ^  *  (  )  _  +  -  =  {  }  |  [  ]  "  ;  '  <  >  ?  ,

You should avoid using the characters in the following list in a password since they do not work with Outlook Web Access:  %  &  :  /  \  .

To change your password on Windows 2000/XP - After logging in, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete. Click the "Change Password" button. Enter your old password, new password, and confirm your new password. Click OK.
